Driving with the historical Kandertalbahn. The "Kandertalbahn" is been preserved as a famous classical branch train line in the southern Black Forest. It starts in Haltingen (5 km to the north of Basel bath Bf) from the Rhine Valley road and leads about a distance of 13 km in the Kandertal, just right into the well-known pottery small town of Kandern. Families with children like to visit the famous "Europa park","Monkey mountain", "Steinwasenpark", "Greifvogelwarte", that means bird of prey point, the zoos in »Basel" and »Mulhouse", as well as the "Mundenhof" near Freiburg or the fun water park "Spaßbad Laguna-Badeland ".
In Nepomuks Kinderwelt in Neuenburg, a playground with over 2.500 m2, you can climb, dive or drive carts. To relax, you can enjoy some time in the family-restaurant or on the beautiful terrace with deck chairs and a great view onto the mountains. The garden also offers a lot of space for playing. Kids should not miss to experience the exciting climbing-viking-ship.
